The ER0S EdgeBox unifies Bluetooth Mesh lighting, Modbus field devices and 2 km DECT NR+ sensor backhaul into a single stream to your BMS or cloud — maintenance-free, and built where connectivity cannot fail.

An industrial IoT gateway that bridges field-side Bluetooth Mesh / NLC lighting, Modbus RTU devices and 0–10 V / DI-DO I/O to Modbus TCP, BMS or cloud over a single PoE cable. The ER0S variant adds an integrated 5G DECT NR+ radio for long-range sensor backhaul — no SIM, no cellular subscription.
A Modbus TCP server and RTU master with full NLC mesh model support, an EnOcean energy-harvesting proxy and remote OTA — housed in a metal heat-sink enclosure rated for −20 ~ +75 °C industrial environments.
Both share 10/100M Ethernet (PoE), RS-485, 2× 0–10 V, 2× DI / 4× DO, microSD, −20 ~ +75 °C operation and NCC / CE / FCC / TELEC / RCM certification.
The EdgeBox is built on a wireless stack that combines short-range and long-range connectivity with energy that generates itself — so networks stay reliable without batteries, base stations or SIM cards.
Networked Lighting Control over Bluetooth Mesh — provisioning, scenes, scheduling and energy monitoring from a phone, scaling to 1,000+ nodes.
ETSI DECT-2020 NR standard on license-exempt spectrum — self-healing, decentralized mesh built for up to a million nodes per square kilometre.
Battery-free switches and sensors harvest kinetic and ambient energy, proxied straight into the mesh — no wiring, no batteries, zero maintenance.

Networked Lighting Control over Bluetooth Mesh — provisioning, dimming, scenes and scheduling from a phone, driven by self-powered switches. One platform from indoor luminaires to city-wide street lighting.

License-exempt DECT NR+ backhaul into the ER0S EdgeBox for status and condition monitoring across large sites — long range, self-healing, no SIM and no base station.
Dimmers, wireless sensor nodes and uncooled thermal cores at the edge — all bridged to Modbus TCP, BMS and cloud by one ER0 / ER0S EdgeBox.

Bluetooth NLC constant-voltage and constant-current dimmers with battery-free wireless switches — the field devices the EdgeBox provisions and controls.

A Nordic Thingy:91 X–based field sensor for condition, energy and environmental data — backhauled to the EdgeBox over long-range DECT NR+, with no SIM or cellular subscription.

The CT11-USB uncooled thermal camera core — 640×512 LWIR, plug-and-play over a single USB connection with UVC video and CDC control.

One gateway bridges Bluetooth Mesh lighting, Modbus RTU field devices and DECT NR+ sensors to Modbus TCP, BMS or cloud over PoE — carrying multiple radio stacks on board, including FLSEMI's US-developed DECT NR+ MAC. A Thread-over-Ethernet stack also connects Thread / Matter devices to Apple HomeKit and other smart-home ecosystems.
Early installations across demanding real-world environments — from semiconductor fabs to campus lighting, highways and street infrastructure.

FL Semiconductor LLC (dba FLSEMI) integrates resilient Bluetooth Mesh, DECT NR+ and Thread stacks into System-in-Package (SiP) wireless modules — reliable, self-healing connectivity delivered at chip scale, with materials and expertise drawn from the US, Norway and Taiwan.
