Dimming, scenes and switches — one mesh across the building.

Lighting for guestrooms, lounges, offices and campuses: BFi53CVD and BFi53CCD dimmers drive the fixtures, battery-free switches go on a wall or a glass partition, and Bluetooth Mesh covers the building with local control and no gateway required. When the BMS needs it, a BFi53ER0 bridges it over Modbus TCP.

Constant voltage or constant current

BFi53CVD drives LED strip and cove lighting at constant voltage; BFi53CCD drives downlights and track lights at constant current. NLC schedules and time models live in the devices; provision, group and set scenes from the iOS app. Lighting products →

BFi5EWS single or double rocker, on a wall, glass or partition; no wiring between switches, so guestrooms and meeting rooms are refitted without opening walls. Switch specifications →

Modbus TCP, or Thread

BFi53ER0-MB hands the mesh lighting and points to the BMS over Modbus TCP; for a Thread network, BFi53ER0-TN carries Thread over Ethernet with Bluetooth NLC (PREVIEW, on request). Firmware is chosen by part number and installed at the factory. EdgeRouter →

Before you plan

BFi53ER0 firmware is chosen by part number at purchase and installed at the factory; it cannot be changed afterwards. Thread over Ethernet with Bluetooth NLC is PREVIEW, on request.
Switch-to-receiver distance: within one room, up to 15 m line of sight (guidance only, per the radio module’s specification); survey each installation, and extend coverage over the Bluetooth Mesh where needed.
One BFi53CVD carries up to 144 W at 24 V; larger loads are split across units.
