The BFi91XTD is a 5G DECT NR+ sensor node built on the Nordic nRF9151 SiP and nRF5340 SoC, with a full suite of integrated environmental, motion and inertial sensors. It reports over reliable sub-GHz–1.9 GHz DECT NR+ — designed for large-scale, high-density sensing with no SIM and no cellular subscription.

A 5G DECT NR+ environmental & motion sensor platform combining the Nordic nRF9151 SiP and nRF5340 SoC with integrated environmental, motion and inertial sensors. It deploys as a portable terminal (PT) that reports over the DECT NR+ link to a fixed-terminal gateway — the BFi53ER0S EdgeBox — or any compatible nRF9151-based receiver.
Best-in-class Bosch, ADI and Nordic sensors, read by the on-board DECT NR+ driver and reported as compact JSON.
Temperature, humidity, pressure, air quality (IAQ), CO₂ and VOC in one sensor.
3-axis accelerometer that wakes the node and triggers motion-based reporting.
Gyroscope + accelerometer for orientation, vibration and movement analysis.
Heading and magnetic-field sensing for orientation and presence detection.
Battery voltage, current, charge state and PMIC temperature — reported inline.
System-level watchdog, boot-failure recovery and an intelligent power-down alert.
On a device-ID address or broadcast query, the node reads its sensors and reports over DECT NR+ as compact JSON (endpoint 0x53E5, ≈312 B full set) — one-shot, periodic or motion-triggered. A fixed-terminal gateway converts it to an IP network for ICT / IT integration.
Long-range, high-density environmental & motion sensing on DECT NR+ — from a site to a city.
