Sensors and meters stay on their RS-485 (A/B) Modbus RTU bus. Each BFi53ER0 polls its own segment and carries the readings over Bluetooth Mesh; several units, each powered and connected by one PoE cable, are read by your BMS or SCADA as Modbus TCP. In service at a semiconductor fab, a pharmaceutical plant and a hypermarket.

The EdgeRouter polls the wired devices, carries the mesh, and presents both as registers of one Modbus TCP server. Your SCADA or BMS polls it like any other Modbus device.
The EdgeRouter and the Bluetooth Mesh devices behind it are provisioned and operated from the same iOS app — no central controller, no subscription, and the cloud is optional. Installers scan, provision and group devices; owners recall scenes, set schedules and review per-circuit energy. Project settings export encrypted, so a handover does not mean starting over. The EdgeRouter is what carries that system onward to Modbus, a BMS or a cloud platform.

Screens are live captures; functions and layout may change with app releases. The app talks to devices directly over Bluetooth and settings are held on the phone with encrypted export. Where remote management or data upload is required, the BFi53ER0 / BFi53ER0S EdgeRouter bridges to BMS, SCADA or a cloud platform. Published by BANFi Semiconductor for use with FLSEMI hardware.
